MEN AT TOP

Men at top are so obsessed with their own theories and ideas that they often to authenticate their words quote unverified authorities. They will tell everybody how well read and knowledgeable they are. They will assert how  competitive their life was and how they by the dint of their hard work and dedication they rose to the top.Their ambition is to remain at the top by hook or crook and enjoy the comforts and privileges (legally or illegal) of being at top.Their life ,therefore is extremely image-oriented.They insist about being ultra-innovative and superior to everybody around them. After listening to them for hours, you keep wondering why their speech lacked substance and why they avoided the real issues.....

My new role..

This is a photograph taken inside BIET, Sikar near the main entrance on 16-10-2012 with the Principal Dr Das, the Director Sri Mishra and other faculty members.

Sikar is a district in Rajasthan. And I went there because my friend Dr Das requested me to visit him. During my first visit in August, I fell in love with the entire setup including the students coming predominantly from rural background.

I accepted their request to be a visiting teacher and to share my life's experiences with them. I must admit that this has been a turning point in my life. I am now anxiously looking forward to that week I spend in BIET every month with the students with whom my interaction is there both in the class room and in field in the Aravalli mountains.

Incidentally, this is the first time that I am doing field work in the Aravallis.

My life

Rising in the morning
Very inspiring
Working through a day breathtaking
This indeed is admirable
Truly mesmerising
Stylishly varying
When I am indulging
I find it scintillating
Astonishingly opulent
Brightly glittering
And dazzling
That really is my life
Very thrilling...

Future

Have you thought about ?
What you will do
If you cannot win
Remember failure is
Not yet the end.
You may not have much choice
You may have to repeat
All over again.
Try try again
Till you succeed and win.

God is with us..

Vedanta says
The ultimate reality is brahman.
Upanishads describe Him as shunya.
How can I perceive
This negative nothingness?
I want a God who is with us
He exists because
He is Sampurna.
He is not Shunya
All our desires end
When we reach him
Bhima bhoi had wished to remain blind
After a vision of the Lord.
Because after seeing Him
There is nothing more to be seen
Once you reach Him
Your journey ends
After getting Him
There is nothing more to get.
He is all pervading
He is all around us
Above us and below us
Knowing Him is attaining bliss
He is eternal and endless
The everlasting, the continuous and the Whole
Brahma is knowledge
He is divine and dispassion
He is power, energy and strength
He is eternal, He is wealth and fame
Infinite, permanent and unperishable
He is my support
Through out my life.

Years passed away yet she did not return..

That year there was no rain.
She went away causing me a lot of pain.
The winter came morosely,
It was very chilly
Followed by a scorching summer
It was lonely without her.

Then came four months of heavy rain
And a crying autumn,
A year passed by,
The earth and sky were never so dry,
I stared at a path infinite,
Counting the days
And hoping that by night,
She will return to my embrace
And we will hold each others hands.

Will she ever really return
She trods in a holy sojourn
I will have to live alone
With the pain of separation.
